I believe you're speaking of Bean Boots from L.L. Bean. I own a pair myself and highly recommend these as they not only are fully functional for any outdoor frativities, but also hold up well on a bar floor thats been heavily coated in jack and coke, cigarette remains, vomit, and any other substances that could deface a pair of Sperrys. They run a bit big, I recommend a size or 2 down from your normal size in footwear.

This site has lost it all ever since it went down for maintenace. People use to spend every day commenting
on a post and having fratty convos. This site has lost it's edge and I'm sad to see the end of an era

I dunno, that could be weak. I'll mix it in convo but only when the fellow fratdaddies have put a few down. Since this was a questionable post I'll move on.

There was some minor blowback with a post extolling the virtues of a certain company. I don't want this to be an argument and I hope you erase anything anyone says contrary- we live in AMERICA so please, promote whatever sponsors, partners or friends with start ups you want to! In fact it seems unfratty not to have more ads and sponsors, like you're a communist. Obviously if you take the ads and post sweet things about said products you will also expect to lose traffic if said products suck, so you should also call up Sperry, RayBans, Costas, etc. I would suggest that if commenters don't like colors or logos that's fine, (the comments drive this site anyway and companies want feedback.) But commenters shouldn't bash capitalism or dump a new company trying to do right by the fratworld.

As for the site, looks nice but it is DOA without a recent comments. It is already suffering from a failure to widen your topics and maybe delve into some serious (or not) fraternity topics and topics fraternity men would be interested in. The topics and audience have narrowed and become so predictable it isn't even funny. This means the comments have become predictable and narrow as well. If you are stuck, take a couple of guys up on guest posting- they submit the posts and you decide.
