The basketball boys are in the full swing of the NCAA tournament, we have crowned a winner in the Battle of All Things GDI, and now it’s ready for the big guns to return. That’s right, fratdaddies and sorostitutes, the 2008 FRAT MADNESS Tournament is upon us.
In 2007, Costas and Croakies dominated the competition and secured their place as the King of All Things Fratty for a year. If they wish to repeat, however, they’ll have to defeat a field that we believe is much tougher than they faced last year.
The bracket is currently being made, but here is some preliminary information about the tournament:
Format:
Single elimination bracket
Four Regions: Clothing, Food/Drink, Party, and Miscellaneous
33 Teams (32 slots, with one slot being filled by the winner of a play-in game)
Games last 24 hours from the time they are posted
#1 Seeds (and the conference they won)
Clothing Region: Costas and Croakies, Southern Accessories Conference
Food/Drink Region: Bourbon and Coke, Bluegrass Distillers Conference
Party Region: Formal/Cocktail, Social Chairman Select Conference
Miscellaneous: Hazing, Thank You Sir, May I Have Another Association
